Served a full 3 year apprenticeship in painting and decorating with Wimpey Construction, passing with a distinction in City and Guilds qualification.
Left Wimpey in 1984 and worked for several companies on a freelance basis gaining experience in all aspects of painting and decorating until 1985 when I embarked on a career with a very successful decorating company, my position being Contracts Manager in the London and surrounding area. This included managing contracts on prestigious developments, such as the regeneration work carried out in the late 1980s at the financial City area of London.
Decided to use my gained experience in 1989 by setting up my own decorating business for which I have been running ever since. In 2006 I expanded the business to include the supply and fitting of UPVC fascias soffits and gutters.
